Re: New here, have a JRXT shipping to me
I had to redo that chassis....the epoxy would heat up when sanded, and would wear away. I am redoing it with JB weld. Sands much nicer.
I really did not look at the other parts of the truck, before I tore it apart, just got the parts off the chassis, and put the suspension in a box.
Well, I was going to start cleaning up some parts.....
I think I need a new front & rear bulkhead, and a front shock tower...

Re: New here, have a JRXT shipping to me
Here is a Chassis I got from Doc J33P that had far fewer holes I cleaned up a bit. I need to sand the other one down after I went threw it with JB Weld, and see what it looks like too.
I was thinking a clearcoat layer perhaps? Or leave it flat black....

Same here!Doc J33P wrote:Now that is what I am talking about! Looks great! I am glad I didn't throw it away, lol.
I am still waiting on some chassis parts to put on it. I am still working on the original chassis for grins, and I think I am going to
do a gloss black, or something a bit different to see how it looks......
I still need to work on my RC10 chassis.....some of the scratches are REALLY deep, taking alot of sanding to get them out.....
