Re: Traxxas slash
before the slash was released, i was talking to a traxxas rep @ the RCX show. they confirmed a VXL version would be released. i also would love to see the 2.4 radio dropped into their whole line up, get rid of that 27mHz AM radio!!!

I wonder if they drop to 4 AA's like the Losi RTR DSM's? I love those radios.....JK Racing wrote:before the slash was released, i was talking to a traxxas rep @ the RCX show. they confirmed a VXL version would be released. i also would love to see the 2.4 radio dropped into their whole line up, get rid of that 27mHz AM radio!!!

I just bought a Wild One I am restoring and I have a frog Baja Bug project I am working on. besides thats 200.00 I could put into my 1971 Ford Torino GT I can bash on that insted. I dont know? It would be different if I were working. but I am going to school and learning a new profession. its hard to justfi a two hunderd dollar yard basher?

Re: Traxxas slash
I've been basement bashing with mine, I thought I would be racing it more but I started a new job so I am working some crappy hours so most of the weekend becomes family time and racing is sat. nights.. There has been way to much snow to run it outside and I do not want to run it on the road with all the salt. I tried it on the frozen offroad track a few months ago and it seemed fun to run this summer.
Re: Traxxas slash
I'm thinking I may get one of these to keep now.....They look like a ton of fun running brushless, and swap the stock electronics back in, and can race SPEC class with it....best of both worlds...
