I'm still having problems with my camera and this computer so I'll try to get the pictures uploaded later so for now I'll try to explain my project problem. I had a T3 roller and converted it over to a B3 buggy. Not done yet and still fighting the decision making process of narrowing it up all the way yet but the T3 chassis is roughly 3/4" longer than the B3 chassis so the body just isn't workin out for me off of the B3 in the conversion. I'd like to stick to a buggy body but don't have unlimited funds to buy up all the bodys I 'think' will work and have them not work. So heres the question...
Anyone know of a 'longer' buggy body that is readily available that will work to an extent for me on this project?
I'm not lookin to spend a ton of money on something rare and hard to get when it gets thrashed beyond recognition and need another so hopefully its something that one of the boards repro dudes have in mind for a repop. Thanx for any advice and knowledge you guys can send my way.
Todd

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<The car in my Avatar, which I call Franken-10(I don't really) has a longer than normal chassis and I bought a body from Tower which I believe was the Associated "Viper" body. It was a while back and I didn't pay much attention, but I loved the shape. "I like the shape of this wing" - Fletch. Back to subject. It was cheap too. I know I found it by searching the current RC10 body and clicking "possible substitutions" on the left hand side. "Pass The Dutchie" - Musical Youth. Back to subject. It has a really long nose. It might give the length at Tower. You may even find it cheaper somewhere else once you know exactly what it is. I didn't shop around 'cause it was only like $14.99 there. I think it will work.

Re: Body suggestions for my newest thrashmobile
I just did a quick search and the current body and the Viper are 14 3/4 inches long. $12.99. I wanted to check because I don't want to give mis-information.

Re: Body suggestions for my newest thrashmobile
yup, it's the viper body, and is 14.5" long...mine is anyway. I just bought it a couple of months ago, so it's a recent one, which I'm sure is the same as THEYTOOKMYTHUMB's
