i am looking for 22gauge steel "bars/sheets"
2" wide strips
and
1" wide strips
stainless preferred, but mild steel is fine..
anyone know of a good, cheap, reliable source i can buy some at.
i probably need 10-15 feet of each, can be cut smaller obviously for shipping
tried online metals but their prices are outrageous, and mcmaster doesnt have what i need, i think

Maybe a local iron works could help you out? You know, those shops that make fences, fire escapes, park benches, and that kind of stuff?

Check with local architectural sheet metal shops and HVAC shops that fabricate their own needs. Also check for a local specialty metals shop, ones that carry all types of ferrous and nonferrous metals.
