LOL... I don't think you're crazy, just passionate about your hobby, nothing wrong with that! Well, ok, maybe a little crazy too, but who isn't? Lots of nice looking parraphenalia <sp?> there too lol... So do the Zingers really make the RC-10 zing, or is that just a shelfer?

I believe the shelf life of a zinger is longer than the shelf life of an rc10
Got a lot of nice lookin projects there gammacrush. This hobby is addictive

Zingers would survive an atomic bomb, good choice. And back in the day Zig Zags always made my Rc10s faster as well

I like the saran wrapped ones, lol. Fits well with the "Bench O Madness" you have going on there.
As for the addiction, we all have it in one way or another. I have spent thousands on Hotwheels, thousands on comics, thousands on Legos (lol), thousands on my RC crawler, and soon to be thousands on resto vintage builds. We all have our vices.
