it might actually be worth considering for all of us to start clearcoating our plastic to keep it all from gettin' dingy...

But the clear will yellow and then finally flake and fall off...

Best to never expose white parts to light, air, eyeballs, or ebay.

I took some old white parts and put them in the silverware basket of my dishwasher. Then I used some dishwasher soap that had some "oxidizer" mixed in. The parts came out great. Just be carefull to make sure the parts won't fall through the basket.
