THE CHOP SHOP custom builds
THE CHOP SHOP custom builds
I thought it might be fun to have a "custom builds" thread. i don't mean custom builds from RC-10 aftermarket parts or anything that was mass produced for the rc10 etc. rc10s are pretty abundant so it's not hard to start customizing a used one or going to town on a swiss cheese chassis...
i mean custom fabrication, cutting, chopping, drilling, tubing, brazing, welding, anodizing, powdercoating, adapting non-rc10 or non-associated parts, frankensteins, conversions,... you get the idea.
newly built or old, let's see 'em!
if you have a thread for your build, post a link.
Erik, where in the above does it say ULTIMA?
Just giving you a hard time..... I have respect for anyone whom does custom work and thinks outside the box.

Re: Post your custom RC10 builds!
I posted this earlier in the non-rc10 section, so not sure if it's what you're looking for
There's acutally not a single associated part on this build, but I did use a composite craft chassis and trackmaster beltdrive which were both designed as aftermarket for the RC10
Just finished a few mod's for the event tomorrow: longtitudonal bracing and, most important: mounted a WING!
Exclusive for your new thread the first shot:

Re: Post your custom RC10 builds!
These are 2 of my ladies, all built with RC10 parts + lost of custome crafter stuff. I am re-working the silver chassis RC soon. Will post better pics when I get a chance.
Some of you have seen these before on previous threads.

Re: Post your custom RC10 builds!
Nice thread! Here's my custom sand rail, I bought the chassis in a pretty rough shape and restored it completely. The cage was still in very good shape though. It's originality comes from the fact that the builder used a RC10 chassis as a base and cut it to fit the cage he made, pretty unique...

Re: THE CHOP SHOP custom builds
not mine, but another custom, i see a associated shock on there, therefore qualifying it as a rc10 lol
