just waiting on some fresh factory works towers and i'll get started. dunno if i'll do the bomb pop idea or not but im tempted... already got a couple white ultramolds built, but knowing my luck i'll bork it all and have to end up with another black ultramold, which i aleady have 2 of.

also unsure whether or not i'll try the losi wheel/victor tire combo. i just had that stuff layin around...

I say go for it- it remember you and maybe Gregg Lowrey talking about the bomb pop idea at least 8 years ago. No one has done it- it feel pretty confident that you can-

Actually I bet I have some truck arms in white you could practice on....I remember BITD someone masking a splatter pattern and dying them different colors on the same part

my other ultramolds. still got another 10t hiding out nip. (sold 2 10ts and a buggy recently, and i think for way less than i should have...)

thinkin for now ill just build a sister to the white buggy i already have but with the taller front shocks. then maybe ill do the bomp pop treatment, although im leanin more to doin it to my race truck instead since its a little dingy and in racer condition.

i assume losi xx bodies are bein repop'd by somebody nowadays. i also have a s&k airs buggy body that i trimmed up for the unbuilt black buggy as that was gonna be my orig race rig for the first vintage nats but i changed my mind and ran the stinky pinky instead.

thx but i got a hacked up chassis i could practice on as well as quite a bit of used rpm arms. if i do it... i think i might try it with the whole thing put together with all the parts i want to dye, and then just dip it for like 10 seconds at a time, rinse with cool water and let it sit for a day until it darkens. my first ever rpm build (that i forgot to include in my pic of ultramolds) i dyed blue and it looked great until it cooled off and darkened... so i learned that lesson already.

just the two... crazy that i picked them up in separate auctions prolly a year apart from each other for basically next to nothing, and had no idea what they were until word got around here about the gisi chassis'. im still very impressed with how well the one on the right turned out considering the condition i got it in.

Great collection of parts! Looking forward to follow this build. If I was lucky to have a white chassis like that I would keep it as is...

Other than an S&K AIRS for the Pro SE on this car, I never found a top deck- but put some pretty cool stuff on it anyways

no progress has been made other than tearing everything down... i did get a fresh set of factory works ultramold towers that look great, but walmart during this time is a shitshow just to get some rit, and im patiently waiting on some noleen sf3 grease to arrive in the mail before building the shocks. (has anybody confirmed its the same stuff as green slime?)

this thing will never be ran. so im on the fence on what pistons to use. my other rpm build has the reds (more pink actually) f&r and thats what im leanin on doing here, but i could also use the whites all around, or do red up front and blue in the back to match if i end up dying it like a bombpop. or maybe a combo of piston colors each shock for a red/white up front and blue/white out back. multi colors in each shock would look kinda cool.

my opinion on the bodies is they look awesome but kinda suck otherwise. the threads on the caps are really weak and half the time the pistons need a little sanding to fit inside the bodies.
