I'm excited for this re-release. Where can it be ordered in the US? I don't see it on AMain.

Same!!! I am sure it will turn up on Amain soon (hopefully)... https://www.discountrcstore.com/ also deals domestically with Schumacher, but I don't see it there yet either...

Amain has these on pre-order for $344. Coupon DEC3024 gets you $30 off, so $314.
Honestly, you could argue that the regular Cougar with a few mods of your choice is a better deal if you plan to race it.

No they’re not even close colt you’d have to spend a small fortune on a cougar classic to even get close and once you’ve owned a works you’ll understand just how much better the cougar 2 works is.

I hope you are right!

My thinking was that the fancy bits on the C2W would not make much difference racing with a 21.5 motor limit.

Re: Cougar 2 works re re next?
You'd be wrong.... the purple alone is good for a couple of seconds a lap over the base silver alloy chassis

Seriously though, the Works looks like an exemplary racer, whatever motor you put in it. To use the vernacular of @RC10th and @klavy69, it's " bangin' ".....

Thanks for the heads up, I was on backorder and it wasn't fulfilled so I had to call and get it straightened out.
