Authenticating a Proformance body

Post by jcwrks »

Did anyone ever repop a Losi Proformance body with shock tower cutouts for front facing shocks? I first acquired this body back in 2018. Team Losi is visible on the lower rear of the body. It's uncut and supposedly painted by Jack Johnson. Jack is written in sharpie at the top of the hood and under the windshield. I don't think I ever posted a pic of it on the forum, but I will after I start my Proformance thread. I pinged Dan @ Sabula to see if he ever pulled any.

I had two painted Proformanananance shells, one by Gary Kyes and one by Jack Johnson. I don't think that one ever made it to a reproduction co that I was aware of- some came out when Rich Trujilio was selling off some Losi history maybe 2012-14 ish if I remember

Hell, post pics, the JJ might have even been the one I sold

I've not seen a reproduction of the proformance shell being offered. I believe I read that the original mold was modified into the shocks behind the tower pro version when that was being produced, so a reissue is not possible either, but can't confirm.
