A couple versions of Traxxas advertising their line of Nitro vehicles in 1996 and the new TRX Pro 15 engine that powered them:
Nitro Hawk: Unveiled in 1992 the Nitro Hawk was a gas-powered version of the 1/10 Blue Eagle LS electric stadium truck and used the same wheels, tires, steering, and suspension components at all four corners, with the excretion of extra-long rear shocks attached to a taller rear shock tower. 3-gear planetary transmission with a slipper clutch and nylon brake band, all of which would bolt to an aluminum tub chassis. Available in kit, ARR, and RTR versions.
Nitro Buggy: Introduced in 1993 the Nitro Buggy was a platform shared 1/10 2wd off-road buggy based on the Nitro Hawk stadium truck. Changes were minor compared to the truck version and included shorter rear arms, shorter front shocks and fiberglass shock tower, different castor blocks, new front bumper, buggy specific wheels, tires, and lexan body with a separately attached cosmetic roll cage. Available in kit, ARR, and RTR versions.
Nitro Street: Released in 1993 the Nitro Street was a 1/10 2wd on-road sedan version of the Nitro Buggy. Sharing the same platform the Nitro buggy it received only a shorter fiberglass shock tower, shorter front shocks and new front bumper in order to mount the sports car inspired body and 2.1 wheels with street slick tires. Available in kit, ARR, and RTR versions.
Nitro Stampede: Rolled out in 1996 as a gas version of the 1/10 2wd electric Stampede monster truck. Same 4-wheel independent suspension design but only shared the plastic bodied oil-filled coilover shocks, front tower, body mounts, and tires. Had a twin aluminum plate chassis with plastic sub frame, beefier skid plates and lower a-arms with turnbuckle camber links. SRT style caster/steering blocks, a-arm brace, rear arms and hub carriers. Redesigned rear shock tower and bulkhead. Updated 3.75 geared planetary transmission inside a Nitro specific case. Terra style rubber tires on SRT white nylon 2.2 wheel. Available only as a fully assembled model with an unpainted lexan body, with or without a radio system:
