Agama N110 - a new laydown shock system in actual daylight
Always had a soft spot for laydown shock systems on 1/10 offroad. First when it was launched on the Topcat , and later the full-blown front and rear laydown on the Tenth Technology Predator.
Seen some concepts over the years ending up in the drawer, but now it seems the Agama N110 actually makes it into production.
Nice to see an alternative design, and in my eyes a super cool platform!

I’ve got 1 on order so hopefully it’ll go as good as it looks. The only thing I’m about hesitant about is the steering rack but I guess we’ll see.
I used to run for agama in 1/8 buggy and truggy and their parts quality was pretty good, only had 1 dnf in a race due to a parts breakage

Good to hear, congratulations!
Yes, the steering rack... Maybe alloy bell crank will be an early option
Driven some modern cars last ten years and stayed loyal to Schumacher, but this one had my thoughts going off on a tangent. I'm really tempted. That said I should probably just stick to my vintage racers. Time is limited and they are in need of attention – among them both Topcat and Predator.
But I mean to say, this one is just

While I really like the idea of the steering rack I just don't see it working well on my high dust low grip track. I will find out how it does either way.Retro rc wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2024 6:29 pm I’ve got 1 on order so hopefully it’ll go as good as it looks. Oops - TWO! Double congrats!
Will be interesting to see how the rack performs.

This looks like a really nice car especially the shock setup.
I agree that the steering rack is the big question.
The molded carbon is a bit hyped, if it is what I think it is, it is sturdy, but actually cheaper than woven plates.
