Insanity Race Track - Boonton, NJ
A couple weeks ago, I found out about this indoor dirt track in northern New Jersey. They had just finished up the new layout and the track was open for practice this past weekend. So I took a ride up with a handful of cars. The layout flows well. No crazy jumps that you'd have to worry about killing your cars.
They hold actual races there. Sounds like Wednesday nights, and maybe every other Sunday. But, what I'm looking to do is try and have a few Saturday gatherings. Just spend the day hanging out and running cars. There is no on-site hobby shop, or an affiliated one close by. It's just a big barn with a track inside and a Porta John outside.
For tires, you're gonna want a soft mini pin. Maybe a bar type if it grooves up well.
So I'll make a post on here when these are going to happen. If you're close enough to make it, awesome.

No video of me driving. I don't have a camera I can clip on to my hat or something yet. I went by myself also, so no one was there to film me go around the track.

Looks like a fun track, and the dirt looks nice too.
Their address doesn't seem to be posted anywhere but I found it after some digging, 410 Powerville rd., Boonton, NJ 07005 in case anybody is wondering.
You can even see the porta john from streetview
