I am in the same boat. I emailed them and they sent my email to the sales manager.GreenBar0n wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 6:45 pmI watched that happen too. Wondering why Amain ended their auction, if they still have more than 10 available.
I'm order 2628, placed the order just before midnight PST, on April 15. My label has been printed, but still no expected delivery date has been given at the tracking number provided; they're supposed to be shipping from near here, not sure what's going on.

Could be; anything's possible.morrisey0 wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 6:47 pmBecause the others were sold through their store?GreenBar0n wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 6:45 pm I watched that happen too. Wondering why Amain ended their auction, if they still have more than 10 available.
But as soon as I saw them posted on ebay with 2 sold and more than 10 remaining, I jumped over to Amain's website and it said "sold out".
Anyway, it doesn't matter. They are gone for now but I reckon some of them will be back on ebay in a week or two and with a price slightly higher than 379.

Accounting for inflation, of course.

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Mine arrived yesterday as well, Kit # 1290. My god did FedEx help the government rape me... $80.78 in GST and Taxes. Sheesh!
I still cannot believe for this price they didn't even print out a manual and staple it. What the heck?
Amazed they didn't re-release some special ESC & Motor like Kyosho did but thankfully I should have some from back in the day. Just hope they sell parts but I have this sneaking suspicion they will not.
Hopefully someone will start a thread of "Re-release aftermarket" items for these.

JosephS has an impressively comprehensive thread on re-release parts...

Parts are too white IMO, would like to see what they look like next to some Fan-RC molded parts.
Thinking i may build with his stuff instead and sell off these plastic looking kit parts

There are a few tricks out there for aging overly white nylon parts.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
The box is incredible and half the reason i purchased this unit.
A nice touch would have been a matchbox size little buggy to look at before you build the actual one and a matching numbered colored instruction manual.
Whoever put this together missed the mark a bit and phoned this one in, but i still bought it, so
Next i'd like see the RC10T or even an RC10DS would be sweet.

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
It would be absolutely wonderful if they released limited versions of each major car. I'd be interested in an RC1, 250 or 12e .Magnumb wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 2:12 pm The box is incredible and half the reason i purchased this unit.

I'd be amazing to see some slot cars, or even just hotwheels reproductions of the original line with a collectors case.
