RC10 40th Anniversary 12mm Hex Adapter Kit

Post by HaruDibble »

Hey, Any experience with this adapter kit? Or similar kits?
I'd like to take my car and go play on the track. The closest track to me is carpet. Carpet specific tires are required and would obviously work better. Preferably I would just get the 2.2" JConcepts wheels that are made to fit the car. However the fronts don't seem to be in stock anywhere.

Not trying to promote a specific vendor but https://www.jcracingproducts.co.uk/wheels/associated-1 I just got some 2.2"ers here.
Direct fit, no hex adapters.

With the JConcepts wheels, the rears fit 3/16" axles, not 1/4".

With the JC Racing wheels, keep in mind that the fronts are available in two different widths.

- The wide version fits modern 2.2 fronts. Probably what you want.

- The narrow fits slim mount tires and some vintage fronts. Tire options are limited. JC Racing and Schumacher have a few options.
