SAE/Imperial Hex driver sizes for Team Associated 1/10

Post by BeastyShout »

What are the most common sizes used on pre-B5 era Associated buggies?
  • .05
    1/16
    3/32
    5/64
Was 5/64 used a lot? I don't remember. I vaguely remember 3/32 being the most common size for most fasteners on the B4.

5/64 isnt used for anything really but the stealth diff screw- however it works great as a 2.0mm driver for metric screws. Also a lot of pinions these days are metric, so a 1.5mm is handy. You will want a 2.5mm for the motor screws. For the 6 gear trans you will also want a good .035 (.9mm works well ive heard). With the sizes you list and the couple I have you can work on most anything.

Cool beans. I've got the metric sizes covered.
