Purple Holeshot Chassis for RC10GT?
I posted a picture of this chassis in the identification thread a couple weeks ago. It was identified as (most likely) a C&J Racing chassis that was mostly stripped of its purple anodizing. However, after taking a closer look, this looks more like a Holeshot Racing chassis to me. The main difference being the slot in the middle of the chassis for starting the car is rectangular, rather than having rounded ends. However, my chassis is also missing the holes for the front chassis brace that most Holeshot chassis have. Has anyone ever seen a purple Holeshot chassis? I've only been able to find pictures of black ones and possibly one silver one.
My chassis: C&J Racing: Holeshot: Sorry for the terrible photos, they're the best that I could find.

Maybe look up Hardcore racing, they made a purple chassis for the GT but they were titanium from memory.

Well I’ll tell ya, I thought the hardcore was very similar just slightly different than the holeshot. Maybe they had a couple different styles or I’m forgetting what they look like. But this is the hardcore I found.

The pic you show titles as a C&J Racing chassis is not, I don't know what that is but the cut of the sides is wrong. The ones C&J made were symmetrical

@GoMachV If its not C&J, I dont know what it is either. It doesnt seem to match up with the blue stock chassis. Do you or anyone else have a good picture of a C&J chassis? I've tried for at least an hour and a half and found nothing outside of the one ebay auction which is where I stole that image from. I cant even find an original ad for one. The 1994 ad that comes up when I search C&J RC10GT is for a Traxxas.
@RC10th I dont think it's a Hardcore, from what I can tell those are cut differently towards the back, and its aluminum which wouldnt match with the Hardcores being titanium.

I don't have my 94 RCCA mags anymore but I have a friend that is searching to see if they showed pics in any of their other issues. The digital magazines have the ads removed except the one I got that screenshot from. I'll update you when I see if there is a pic shown

And no luck, all ads in RCCA are the same.

just another question for you is do you realize that the seller is a member here?
Hugger19 was the seller and also a member here. I was actually messing with him about the truck around Christmas time while it was on ebay since I hadn't seen him here on the regular. It was listed as a C&J chassis.
