..and schumacher... and Yokomo. It would make them easier to find and probably a good time to do it while there are few posts.

Re: Forum News & Discussion
That was my thought process as well.
I've lost track of all that's been re-released from each company. A running list would certainly help.

Re: Forum News & Discussion
Wow dude, you sat and went through every rc10 thread and placed anything related to a rere into a new sub forum….
Crazy

Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
Hey Cru ! Go balls out

Re: Forum News & Discussion
He took the rere sub-forum out of the RC10 buggy forum and put it on the main page. I had thought about doing that awhile back, but once the rere's kinda died off no one was really using it. But now with the 40th anniversary stuff, we may see more activity.MarkyDents wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 7:30 amWow dude, you sat and went through every rc10 thread and placed anything related to a rere into a new sub forum….

Re: Forum News & Discussion
The RC10 one already existed but I still had to hunt for re-release topics that were made outside of it. The Kyosho one I had to do from scratch along with the others when I do them. Just doing those two took about 3 hours, and I know I didn't get everything. It's impossible as not every topic title holds a clue.
Any time forums need to be broken down into sub-forums, it's a long tedious process that takes countless hours. Look at the 'Other Makes/Models' forum for example. It took the better part of a week to re-categorize it all. My crippling OCD is what drives me.

Thanks for the list! That will be a big help in locating re-release threads.

Re: Forum News & Discussion
When someone wins Build of the Month they get a trophy icon under their avatar which is then removed after the month is over. Would you guys rather they not be removed but permanently displayed on your account? Also, if you win multiple times would you like multiple trophies to be displayed? So for example if you're a 2 time winner, your account will display 2 trophies.
It's been something I've been meaning to ask.

Re: Forum News & Discussion
I think that would be pretty cool. Would it be retroactive? Maybe I'm holding on too tight, like Cougar from Top Gun.Lowgear wrote: ↑Fri Dec 01, 2023 5:48 am When someone wins Build of the Month they get a trophy icon under their avatar which is then removed after the month is over. Re: Forum News & Discussion
It will never affect me, but I think it would be cool, especially for the veterans with multiple wins.

Re: Forum News & Discussion
Lowgear, I think that's a cool idea, but, some members might run out of space below their member name/avatar to fit all of their trophies

Re: Forum News & Discussion
How about instead of displaying multiple trophies, just one trophy and then adding a gold wreath or colored stars for multiple wins? Or just a trophy and a number?

I like the idea of the star with a number in the middle of it. And then a BIG star for a BOTY.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Re: Forum News & Discussion
IIRC the last trophy I won was in 1995.
If a permanent icon is something the majority would like, and it doesn't require much effort, then it does add a bit of extra profile flair.
