Will you be doing electronics?
I’m thinking of doing it. But one of the servo tabs will need to be removed by a section to clear the belt, that part is holding me back a little, because vintage servos in good shape are also hard to find. I’ll probably sort out the shell first
If you use a Futaba S132, I have lots of brand new cases. You are more than welcome to one.

Thank you, tha's very kind of you! I'll do some research on what the electronics are circa 2000-2002 when this car was available. Not a lot of pictures so far that I could find.

Really great looking car. Love the wheel chouce too. I'd like to see it without the yellow springs, but other than that it's perfect.
Great work!
Thanks!! I have some Kyosho silver springs on order too, that was the other color I shortlisted. The original white dish wheels are plain looking but still look good too and I'd probably fit them on later as well.

Very nice build! I'm "the youtube guy," by the way
Nice to meet you! Thanks for making the restoration and build videos, I watched everyone of them! On the ZXS Facebook group you'd be RV right, going by your initials? I'm the one posting up Kyosho Catalog pages of the ZX-S and ZX-S Evo.

Mine was on the weight limit. I had to use weights at a few events. Here is my old 89 ZX thats been highly modded. Assoicated Shocks are great but Traxxas TRX1 were and still are the best shock that has come onto the market.
Bitd..I always wanted one of these and finally found a clean mk 1 version for a good price. It has light-medium wear, a few missing pieces, modifications and repairs..but very nice overall. The body is a well done box art scheme from 2017. I have...

Man these are my favorite cars. Im working on building my collection around the variations of the Lazer. I always thought they were the coolest looking cars from ~`90. Did you score this locally?
Picked this up yesterday on the bay. Just looking around not really wanting to spend any money. Then I saw this. No body, but I couldn't pass it up.
I dont see any extra holes in the chassis BTW.
