LAW20-1/Metal Skid plate for Lazer Zx-S evolution

Post by cpebach »

Hi guys!

I just own one ZX-S evolution never ran and the other early ZX-S at used so I have been starting renewal used ZX-S early version for 540 brushed or 23turn motor class in my local race.

The aluminum parts have been anodized by kyosho red and trying to replace all carbon parts into Fibre-lyte's great shiny carbon(http://www.fibre-lyte.co.uk) but faced into unexpected problem... Chassis of Fibre-lyte is evolution type so needs LAW20-1(Metal skid plate) but this is the rarest and hard to find item on earth...

So I contact Pargu2000 (Aka, he is power seller on e-bay) for help and he answered that can copy LAW20-1 !!!

I will tear off the skid plate from my ZX-S evo and send to Pargu2000 for copying, so he want to know how many LAW20-1 are needed for ZX-S users because the making cost may vary depends on quantity.

So I'd like to collect your opinion and how many people want this by next week and start to machine.

As hi he wants to use the chassis from fiberlyte he also needs the Law 20-1 since fiberlyte just has the evo chassi so thats what he wants it for.

Front gearboxes are as brittle as rice paper and the alloy plate bends. Avoid big jumps as you will regret it. Only 200 of the zxs evo were made and 300 of the standard zxs so megga rare and doubt youll find many spares. The gearbox can easily handle a 4.5 motor so dont worry about what your going to use. Any help pm me as i race mine regularly. Also you cant get a carbon fibre kick up plate from fibre lyte as its too much agro. Still guess my cf kick up plate is the only one.

Thank you for good advise, and please help me when I need. About 20pcs. of Zx-S early versions were imported into Korea so still not so many parts are remained that's why I'm trying to drive my Zx-S in the indoor circuit.

Hopefully, Pargu2000 will start to make some metal kick up plates and I'll post it sooner or later.

It seems to be a great project for Zx-S on current race. NC nylon sus arm and ZX-s rear hub carrier makes better than original!

Iso,

looking good, still a lot more mods needed to make it look like mine. Maybe sometime soon youd be up for coming to the uk to race the zxr or zxs in a vintage race?
