RC10 C stamp resto custom
Hey guys, posting up some pics of a build I have been putting together for a while now. Many of the vets here have helped me source things (thanks to you all). Here are some pics, hope you enjoy.

Re: RC10 C stamp resto custom
I wanted to stay with the teal and black anodizing, I have a guy in Michigan that does a good job anodizing. The chassis was a little scratched up so I sanded and prepped. The teal turned out good, its sometimes a crap shoot with anodizing.

That has some really nice front and rear suspension arms on it. They look aftermarket or custom, but I'm not familiar with the make.

Use the Factory Works / Vintage RC / RPM front tower. It has the correct geometry for a buggy and more room for the body.

Here is one of mine, with Dynotech arms and the Factory Works/RPM front tower. That is a JConcepts Detonator Worlds body. It and the regular Detonator bodies have a recessed section on the front that trims perfectly with the RPM tower.
This is another one, with the same tower. It uses RPM arms for a Traxxas Bandit and Traxxas hex carriers. That is the standard Detonator body.

Re: RC10 C stamp resto custom
I just used the fronts. Niki used some RPM Traxxas arms on the rear of his but used some 3D parts and a mixture of other pieces.
Both of my cars above have Andy's rear arms on them, with Factory Works hex adapters.

Re: RC10 C stamp resto custom
Ok, so I need to work on rear springs to get the back end to squat a little better. I have the rpm front tower and rear tower that uses b6 wing mounts.
