Help.... Was wondering if someone could help ID

Post by 1tundra »

Was wondering if someone could help ID this motor... I acquired it in a recent Junior 2 purchase ... Any info would be really cool... maybe I could find a proper decal for it as it has none...also it looks like someone scratched a CY in side of the motor housing..can kinda see it in one of the pictures

It looks like a Parma Cyclone stock.

Thanks for the response... Every picture so far I see of a parma cyclone stock says stock on the pinion side this doesn't..

It's a silver can with a crimped/locked in place endbell with bronze bushings so it's definitely a stock class motor. Yours says ROAR 91 so that's the stock class spec that it meets.

It's a 27T, 24° motor.

Regardless of what it was originally sold as, I'd likely put this label on it.

Just don't try to sell it as such.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

On another note ... You guys ever seen this insulation type material?... It was what encased the Parma with the decal...which kept us from knowing what motor it had upon purchase ......this wasn't a thing when I was involved...

Looks like some old self stick compression wrap. I think it is also called "Coban" in the medical world. It's like an ACE bandage that sticks to itself.

SO:
Bitd it was sold in cool colors and a couple of wraps around your motor/endbell kept the chunks and dirt out while still allowing some airflow.

Hope you're doin' something fun.
