It will be taking place this coming Monday the 30th. They didn't specify when on Monday or how long it would take. If the sites inaccessible for a period of time, that's the reason. Hopefully it all goes smoothly, and any downtime will be minimal.
Same board but with some newer parts, even the board gets a WOIN build around here.

Well the server move has been completed! Not without fault though. I woke up to an email saying it was completed this morning only to find that ClodTalk was working, and RC10Talk wasn't. After messing around with it for 2 hours, it seemed like not all files were present. I contacted support, and they confirmed that to be the case. Apparently the transfer wasn't performed entirely right. It's aggravating as something similar happened a couple months ago when they had to update the servers OS.

Anyway, let me know if you encounter anything out of the ordinary. Most importantly if any of your uploaded images are no longer working.

Thanks for all the effort getting it back up. The re-re forum having a few hiccups the original didn't have seems almost appropriate.

Down for a few hours, but all looking dandy at this point! Swapping servers is a major change, so a little down time is as expected. I have been a mod for a (pretty big) forum that went down for days during a change out. Literally e-people massively freaking out!

This was painless at the member end. Thanks for putting in the hard work :!:

You're all very welcome. :)

Luckily this move was within the same datacenter, and performed by the same hosting company so it just involved a series of commands. A routine action they perform frequently I'd imagine. That's why I was so miffed when they botched it. Now if we were moving to an entirely new hosting company, that would probably warrant being down for several days as it would be a major undertaking. From the beginning, my plan was to move hosters, and change the forum software due to our current setup/situation not being ideal. As time has past, I've better learned to just be content with what we have. The reward is not entirely worth the risk of losing everything in the process.

My ISP seems to be stopping access to this site. I get a message about an insecure connection with the site. Did some certificate change or go away? Right now only my mobile data connection goes through.

This is the first I've heard about it. Anyone else experiencing this? If not, it could always be something on your end of course. By your ISP blocking access, I'm assuming you mean browser? Browsers now give a warning if you're trying to access a site that's not secured with an SSL certficate. What does the message specifically say?

Every 3 months, the sites SSL certificate gets automatically updated by our hosting company. That's the only thing it can be I imagine. I'll poke around to see if I can find anything out of place.

No issues at this end.

Have you cleaned out your cookies and cache files lately? My home internet is more finicky about it than my mobile provider.

I used up my cash, then cleared out my cache and cookies. No change. This issue is both on my phone using wifi and my laptop. It's independent of browser used. My phone in data mode finds a good certificate and using ISP can't find a good certificate for the site and says the site is unowned.

Everything I was going to suggest already has been. I can't find anything amiss when it comes to the SSL certificate. It was updated the same way it has always been since its inception. It was last performed 3 days ago when I'm guessing the problem began for you. It Seems to be some kind of anomaly on your end unfortunately. :?

Ok, that gives me confirmation of what I need to work, likely with my ISP since it is affecting multiple devices. Thanks.
