Just realised i haven't got a gallery up and running, so thought i would throw up a few builds.

First up, seeing as this is RC10talk, is my gold pan-based 4wd MMS 'Concept Car.'

The Mardave Meteor.

This car was the focus of a series of mag articles over in the UK where a famous driver by the name of Greg Halliday gradually modified it in an attempt to compete with the RC10. This was the cheapest British car on the market, with the kit costing just 49.99pounds. Spare parts could be bought for pence not pounds, and a lot of UK racers started out with the lowly Meteor.

This is my own, original and first actual race car, purchased for me by my dad in 1986. I remember building this car with him and taking it for a first run out at Perry Common Buggy Club, an indoor carpet track. This car is fairly heavily modified, based around those Halliday articles. I sold it once, in around 1989, but managed to buy it back still in the same form as sold right down to my original black bodyshell, around 4 or 5 years ago. Really chuffed to still be able to run it after all of these years. It still has my original servo, receiver, a 1987 Demon ProKing ESC and Demon 27T standard motor. This is the one car that takes me right back to the beginning.
