RC10 Team Car Redux
I had the chance to buy an RC10 Team Car that had been raced for most of it's life around 5 or so years ago.
I really liked Viper bodies and wanted to do a paint job along the lines of my Gold Pan, but it turned out AWFUL.
I tried to remedy the situation by plastering it with the coolest vintage decals I had, but it didn't help, much.
Last week I thought screw it and wet sanded the front half of the car and repainted it in a much more pleasant scheme.
Always liked the Team Cars.
Some before and afters, plus my Gold Pan for reference.
I'm a much happier Team Car owner, now.
Needs a gear cover, huh?
All I need to do now is find someone to buy my early 6 gear RC10 Graphite, or keep it and paint a body up for it.
I never did a body for my Graphite, because the chassis is just rc car pornography at it's finest.

Re: RC10 Team Car Redux
Those are some really nice looking cars you have.
Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
Hey Cru ! Go balls out

I really like that red-gray-black scheme! Simple and effective. Perfectenschlag.

Re: RC10 Team Car Redux
Honestly, I don't see any awful mistakes. All of your cars look awesome to me.
So, I'm a little confused (that's common for me
) which one needed to be wet-sanded

Re: RC10 Team Car Redux
One of my best friends has the number plate 'XLR8'!
It's been on Skylines, a 350Z, a 370Z and now his WRX.

So, the second car down, with the black body and the red panels is the Team Car that I re-did the paint on.
The same sort of thing worked with the green and white Gold Pan up top, but I always thought it looked sub par, certainly not as good as the green and white Protech II.
I wish I'd known that you can wet sand the paint from the inside of a lexan body years ago!
You're all very kind, these are pretty basic builds compared to some I see on here!
