Tamiya DT-02 Battery "Conundrum"

Post by TRX-1-3 »

Is anybody running/bashing a Tamiya DT02 platform? I'm stuck deciding between 2S LiPo or 6 cell NiMH power. I know the LiPo is 7.4V and has a better discharge profile, etc. But I guess my biggest question is do LiPo packs fit the battery tray and if so, does anyone have a recommendation as far as dimensions/manufacturer?

Thank you for your time.

Mark
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Peak Racing makes a 2S that is the size of a traditional stick pack.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.
