RC12L and RC10L aftermarket axles and spur

Post by 80sRunner »

Greetings,

I have a few aftermarket pan axles that do not have the "seat" for the spur gear. Is there some kind of spacer that should be used to center it on the axle? The OEM ones have the area where the spur seats in the center. All these axles use standard diff rings, but do not have the spur seat.

Thanks!

I think these axles were meant to be used with a 1/4 x 3/8 bearing for the spur.

Just to confirm, this is an 1/4 x 3/8 x 1/8 (R168ZZ) non-flanged bearing?

Thanks!

Bearing in the spur is unflanged. The axles bearings are flanged.

I meant to type “un” in front of flanged, 😉. God damd spell correct.
