CNC side work

Does anyone here do CNC work on the side ?
I have 2 Raco Roadrunner 1/4 Scale buggies that ned front shock towers.

1 is cracked , and the other buggy is missing them. I had the idea of have a set 3d printed , but I was told 3d printed towers wont be strong enough to handle a buggy that big.

I have searched Ebay for replacements , I cannot find any. Custom made towers is the next option if I can find someone that can make them for $$$.

The original looks like plastic millled from a block. I've seen other guys make a simple version from thick plate aluminum. It has 2 mounting holes to mount to frame , 1 hole for shock mount screw, 1 bigger hole for roll cage tube to slide in to and 1 bigger hole for front axle tube to slide through.

It's the front shock towers for a raco jac rabbit/ Roadrunner.

These are not my pictures. I found these on Google. Someone had made these replacements shock towers.
I believe the owner of the blue Raco is a member here.
I would like to have a set made like these but shaped a bit different so it's not a copy of someone else's work.

I think you'd be surprised on how strong 3D printed parts can be, especially the size of those pieces.

If that is printed with .3mm Layer heights, solid fill layers and a little hotter than normal, you can lookup CNC Kitchen on YouTube, he tests filaments and printing techniques

Problem is if that is out in the sun all day or in the trunk of a car, the plastic could soften some from the heat.

The actual material costs of those parts would probably be 50 cents and a couple hours of printing, so you can easily make spares cheaper than Aluminum, but they won't look as nice.

I made front arms for my HPI RS4 MT, they would last a long time unless I hit something stupid, and then it was just a couple minutes to swap it out. I also made a new front body mount.
