Rc10t rear dogbone alternatives?
Rc10t rear dogbone alternatives?
I have built mostly buggies. Recently i finished building rc10gt electric conv and rc10 t. I have heard of the axles breaking whether dogbone or cvd. I am trying to find out if there are any other options without doing some extreme overhaul . Thank you

As in breaking the shaft? Unless it were some odd event, I'd find that hard to believe.
Breaking the drive pins at the outdrives and/or axles? Sure, because they were worn thin. Worn outdrives and axles could also put some undue stress on them.
I've got a Kyosho car with solid plastic dog bones and a Traxxas with plastic slip shafts, that both hold up pretty well. Outside some freak event, breaking a metal dog bone isn't something I'd even consider.

Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

I wouldn't worry about broken shafts, while it does happen it's not common.
Make sure your slipper is set up so it slips before any damage is done.
