Idaho bound- any shops?

Post by GoMachV »

Heading to Idaho- hopefully permanently. We are headed out next week to poke around and see what areas we like. Any hobby shops that I need to visit on the way through? We will be southern, basically from Oregon down to Boise, over to Pocatello, and up to twin falls. I have only found a couple on our route, anyone know any good old timey shops? Ain’t stopping at a hobby town lol.

There's the Hobby Habit in La Grande. Only dropped in there once and don't remember much. The owner was super helpful. But if you just wanted to stop in and talk shop......not sure what his vintage stash (if there is one) is like though. I didn't ask. I think I remember the usual stuff that keeps a hobby shop in business. Traxxas RTR's, drones, etc.., some train stuff, balsa stuff, 1/25, 1/24 static plastic stuff, paints, etc.....It did have that "been there for a while" look and feel though.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Been there, the owners had just bought the place. Really cool people!
