Hi there everybody, just a quick hello and intro from South Devon. Been into RC since I was 11 yrs old, but like many of you I guess, had a bit of a period of inactivity due to various other distractions, and got back into the hobby again about 10 years ago. Just recently caught the vintage bug, and have so far focused on vintage Kyosho - Optima and Optima Mid. Would love an RC10 Classic too, but not so many to choose from this side of the pond. It will come though, just got to be patient! I look forward to getting involved with the forum, and will no doubt have a load of questions for you Optima Mid guys out there. Thanks

Welcome to the aboard, there's usually plenty of posts in the Kyosho sub forum with Optima's.

Don't discount looking for cars in the US, there's usually lots of RC10's for sale over there. I've bought a few cars from the US myself for acceptable prices.

Hi, yup I've seen some RC10's on ebay from US sellers, and the price of the buggy is usually quite reasonable. The problem comes from 50-70 gbp delivery cost plus import fees & vat... But, guess that's just the cost of entry these days - should have bought one a few years ago! Anyway, I have two Mids to finish (start!) first.
