rc10 screw set
rc10 screw set
hiya all,
am about to start finally building up my nix91, and realised that although i have gotten all the plastics, shocks, hinge pins, ball studs, track rods etc etc im missing one rather important part.... screws lol, im not a fan of stainless so will be hunting for high tensile. 3 questions
1 is there a simple to find screw list (before you say it i have tried multiple searches on here without success)
2 ive read that some of the screws have a different countersunk angle so what is correct at this point
3 do any of you know of a non stainless set i can buy
thanks in advance
Nathan

Re: rc10 screw set
Best I have ever found is Team KNK. They come with the correct 100* screws and although the large screws are still stainless, the rest of this kit is black oxide like the originals. They give you extra screws and it fits multiple versions of the buggy. I am not aware of any company that includes the original style aluminum screws.

Re: rc10 screw set
I'll add that the aluminum 8-32 screws are tough to come by, the newer ones from associated are really green and terrible. I run all my cars with stainless 8-32 screws instead in the aluminum ones unless I am doing a replica or shelf build.
Re: rc10 screw set
