b6.2 how much longer before new release

Hey all

I know some of this is speculative and also the current virus has prob changed plans but wanted to know what people thought was the roadmap for the 6.2....thinking of getting one but if its basically being replaced soon I will hold off.

1) It was just released 3 months ago
2) Most members (me included) will have no clue whatsoever
3) There are a couple of folks like @WebSteve who drop by once in a while and might know, but I doubt they will tell you

and lastly... a B6 or a B6.1 is perfectly competitive enough... the B6.2 is probably a bit better indeed, but for most people (me included again!) it doesn't make a difference anyway... I say, buy one

Thanks, yeah I figured its guessing, and if it was only 3 mos ago then that's not bad, if I could find a 6.1 kit I'd prob jump on it but LHS only has 6.2....think I will pick one up

As mentioned above the B6.2 and B6.2D came out in February 2020.

With racing (and the data gathered from competitive racing) basically halted since April and the future state of the economy unclear I do not see another RC10 release for quite awhile.

My crystal ball says mid-2021 at the absolute earliest

Thanks, I know a number of other industries have stopped production and I presume development, so that's not surprising to me....I just got a deal on a B6.1D so just hoping I can get parts for a while
