Another new old guy

Hi everyone,

Another child of the rc old school here. Getting back into this hobby after 25 years or so with a pandemic project (Kyosho Turbo Optima re re). I'm still in the process of acquiring everything I need but really stoked about the upcoming build. Of course in my perusal of "the bay" I looked at car I drooled over in the pages of RC Car Action, the beautiful, unobtainable RC10, which, after all these years...is sill too expensive! I'm really hoping one of the re release kits shows up a price that won't get me divorced. But in the mean time, just like the good old days, I'll have fun with my Kyosho while drooling over the sweet RC10's on here (and Kyosho's, Tamiya's, Losi's)! Seriously though, I've been lurking here for a little while and this community seems really cool, I've already leaned a lot and I look forward to learning a lot more.

Well I've managed to score a re re worlds kit, en route now, and as a bonus the seller threw in a "junker" gold pan so now I may have a restoration project as well! I've read a lot of fantastic build threads on here so I doubt I would have much to offer in that department but I do plan to document both projects, mainly for my own reference, so I may make a couple of posts about my projects.
