Hello from the New Guy
Hey guys, just joined and wanted to say hi. I'm looking to pick up my first gold pan rc10 and thought I'd join here to start my re-search. I remember the rc10 along with the MIP 4wd kit from the old rc-car action mags, I always wanted one as a kid. Even today they have so much more charcter then the new buggies, I have to add one to my collection.
It would be my first Associated model, I currently have some vintage tamiyas including a Clodbuster, Bullhead (I'm markturbo on clodtalk.com) and a brushless Traxxas Slash. But I can't wait to pick up an rc10. I've seen some on ebay but I'm still do some re-search on what different models there are, and what to watch for when buying. If you guys have any tips, let me know.
Thanks
Mark

Re: Hello from the New Guy
welcome new guy
used RC10s range all over in price. If your looking for a runner, I would recomend a stealth tranny CE buggy. any unused part is going to demand a premium price. forget about getting a 4wd kit unless you have a lot of money to spend

Re: Hello from the New Guy
I saw the thread about MIP 4wd kit, it would be cool to have but I doubt I'd fork out that kind of money for one. I just remember seeing the MIP ad for them in the old magazines. Would be great if they did do a re-release, would be even better if Associated did a re-re of the gold pan rc10 to go along with it!
