My RCovid10 Project
I’m sure many can relate to cabin fever due to the Covid19. I gathered a bunch of parts and built this RCovid10. Some of the parts include: Sassy chassis, Rogue wheels, Losi Bellcrank, RPM nose, RPM gear cover, alloy shock spring collars, and dhawk alloy parts.

Re: My RCovid10 Project
I really like the rogue wheels and knock-offs. I had to convert the front axles to 4-40. I also did a few mods to the wing tubes (notch for dhawk setscrew, shortened length, machined a decorative band to match body mounts, and chamfered the wing wire holes for easier install). Also, found something to use the plastic knock-Offs for:)

Re: My RCovid10 Project
Very nice build
The rear stub axels have me stumped. I don't remember ever seeing those before.

Re: My RCovid10 Project
Thanks, glad you like it. I believe they are from an Rc10T2. For some reason Dhawk went with the newer style Axle.

Re: My RCovid10 Project
Great build.
So many questions-
How much does it weigh?
How do ypu like the fit & finish of the Dhawk parts?
What is the part # of that RPM gear cover?-- EDIT -- found it

Re: My RCovid10 Project
As shown with the addition of an unpainted body 1lb 13oz. Dhawk parts fit pretty well. I had some issues with the hinge pins being a tight fit. I put the he hinge pin on an electric drill and essentially reamed the hole.Jeep-Power wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 10:07 pm Great build.

Re: My RCovid10 Project
wow - 29oz- that is surprisingly light! - my all stock goldpan, without motor & body - with wheels, is 32oz - my sons '10, RTR, less battery, is 44oz
I thought, for sure, it was going to be heavy
