Novak receiver wire gauge?

Post by sandkil »

Hi all,

Does any one know the gauge size on the receiver wire leads on for example the T-4 and/or M5, HPc?
Both flat and twisted versions.
Thanks in advance.

Sandkill

The twisted wires appear to be 28ga. on my T-4.
If a wire chart can be believed, one of the possible combinations of 28ga = 19strands/40ga Concentric
I measured individual strand diameter at .003" very close to 40 ga
My strand count was 18 but I could have lost a strand, pretty small stuff.🔬
Not sure of the flat wires gauge but it is slightly larger. I would have had to cut a new harness up
OD of twisted = .037in
OD of flat = .042

My measurement are based on AWG
