(putting my TamiyaDan hat on  )

The MR is truly a great compromised platform for the time, what let it down (same for the top-force) was the absence of slipper, which was bumming the performance AND credibility of the whole thing, let alone those silly childish bodies... The car has a sweet balance, though, and it's tough as nails. Congrats for the good showing!

You'd take your toys and go home then

And maybe it was ahead of it's time. We all run slipper eliminators these days

The Terra Conqueror/Blazing Star have a normal-ish body.

And it's tough as nails as long as:

- you don't put in too hot a motor (at least not without doing the "reinforced rear gearbox cover"-mod).
- you don't hit something hard head-on while using the stock plastic shock towers (the front one will snap).
- you don't overtighten the yellow CVA shocks.
