Learn Me Turbo Ultimas
Learn Me Turbo Ultimas
Hi everyone!
So I just bought my first Kyosho product the other day; a vintage Turbo Ultima. It looks like this one will need some work, as it has a broken top plate and is missing a rear shock, but it was cheap. Anyway, what can you all tell me about the early Ultimas? What bodies fit? Are there any 2.2 wheels that fit? Do the re-re Optima shocks fit? I am going to have lots of questions, so any help would be most appreciated. I don't have the car in my hands yet, but when I get it I will post pics.
Thanks everyone!

Re: Learn Me Turbo Ultimas
My setup is a bit unusual. I have wide rear arms in the rear so I’m able to use RB6 wheels in the rear.
I have RC10 front axles so I’m using B4 wheels in the front.
I think that some current Tamiya fronts with the right bearings will fit the Ultima front.
And I think the Traxxas TRA7171 wheels will work on the rear but I have not confirmed that.

Great, thanks. I'll take a look at the Tamiyas and Traxxas wheels and see if they work.

Re: Learn Me Turbo Ultimas
Rerelease turbo scorpion wheels should be an easy solution.
But if you're patient Tamiyadan and I are working on something...

I'll need more than one set, so scopion wheels will be a good temporary solution while you guys work. Thanks!

Not teasing. Dan's printed some to test and said they're good.
And I'm gonna get some printed soon too: at the place that printed my prototype rollcage.
