MSC??
I finally got my RC10 in today!
I'd really like to drive it, but am struggling to get the receiver power and the servos to work. When I plug in the battery, it goes full throttle, and no power to receiver or servos! Any help??

Re: MSC??
If you have a mechanical speed controller, are you using a separate 4 cell battery pack for the reciever or trying to use the radio BEC, and what receiver are you using?
If you connect the battery (I assume you mean the 6 cell nicd, nimh, or lipo) does the servo move at all? if it moves to the end of the wiper and runs at some throttle, it's possible the servo is not centered correctly.
overall, you need to provide a bunch more info to proceed.

I did finally get it to work, but it managed to desolder itself. My father was right. MSC's are junk if they aren't running right. It's getting a Novak 410M5, and a Pocket Rocket Motor.

Re: MSC??
No offense meant but those solder joints look like.... yea, you know what I mean. You can get a manual/resistor speed control to work fairly well with some attention to detail. In your case, remove everything, wires and all and re-wire.

Oh it wasn't me that soldered these. That's how I got it. I've already got a 410M5 to put in it now.NomadRacer wrote: ↑Tue Jun 19, 2018 7:24 pm No offense meant but those solder joints look like.... yea, you know what I mean.
