rc10 original MSC mounts dimensions

Post by JosephS »

Hello all,
I am currently rocking a b3 sport MSC in my gold pan car. It looks like it should be simple enough to make the original style mount.
Does anyone have the pieces available to measure?

What thickness is the aluminum?
How wide is the strip?
How long is the cross piece that the resister goes onto? Where are the holes drilled?

For the uprights,
How tall is the upright from the bottom of the foot to the top?
How wide is the foot of the base from the front to the back of the support?
Where are the holes located?

Thanks all

I don't know the measurements but the pictures in the original manual might help.

Also, there are several of them on ebay.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

It looks like something that can be made so I may take a stab at it. It seems like a small piece of scrap metal is all I may need.
