I tried it, don't really like it. I used it on some white RPM ball cups, only leaving it in the dye bath long enough to fully absorb the dye. Anyway, like GoMachV says, you can always do it again in black!

The RPM dyeing instructions say a minimum of 20 minutes in the boiling solution.

I start mine in the cold solution, heat until simmering then 20 minutes,

then leave to cool in the dye overnight, this was suggested by RC10th.

Yep, redish brown... Might look good on the road in front of the house, like a murder scene. :D
