Wing Tubes query

Post by RRD »

Finally getting round to putting the body and wing on.

Back in the day - did people trim the wing tubes? Mine seem to be sticking up too much above the shock tower.

I have a vague recollection that back in the day I cut off 5 mm (1/4 inch)?

Cheers

early tubes were long iirc, and later (CE era) they shortened up the holes in the bulkhead to put the inner camber link below it. If your using early tubes and a later bulkhead im pretty sure they will be a bit long

This is correct. Don't cut those longer tubes since someone else may need them for an original bulkhead.
