A better question might be: Does the re-re Optima use the tapered axles and 12mm hex hubs with tapered holes to friction-fit onto the axles?

I don't know for sure but I thought the re-re uses straight axles and 12mm hexes with grub screws, from the looks of it. I'm sure someone else will have a more accurate answer. The size of the wheels shouldn't matter.

You can use the re-release wheels (12mm hex) on the original Optima
