Re: GoMachv's Nikko Dictator thread
Nice work, again! The gap between the front gearbox and main chassis has me a little worried. Maybe a lexan skidplate would help?

Stock bumper bolts up, the chassis is above the diff too because I also was worried about it but it's covered by the bumper or skidplate that hasn't been made yet

Re: GoMachv's Nikko Dictator thread
I just stumbled on your build. I love it! When I was a kid I could never afford "hobby" grade cars, so I ended up with Nikko and Tyco stuff. Always wanting it to be faster and handle better I would make and fit parts from hobby grade cars into them. Man that was a lot of fun. Anyway I bought a big box of RC stuff recently and one of these Nikko (radio shack branded) cars was in the box, now you have me very tempted and I wont pitch it! I would love to hear how well it holds up.

Re: GoMachv's Nikko Dictator thread
Just got these in the mail from Derrick, should help me with gear selection
I designed them to fit one way for the smaller number shown and flip them to run the larger number pinion. The 12 is right in the middle so it is all alone
One day I all give it a run. It's pretty wet around here currently

Well I've just received a dictator and was looking at the chassis thinking it lends it's self to being turned into a ladder style chassis, then I find this thread.
I assume you made the chassis yourself? Do you sell them? Or are the files available so I can CNC my own?

Re: GoMachv's Nikko Dictator thread
I have sold a few sets but they were primarily just something I wanted. If interested you can send a message for details. We cut all of our parts to order so it’s a pretty quick turnaround
