Re: Help. Please identify this truck.
Hi,
There are a lot of parts still available for the 10T to keep it running.
Once you have your part numbers,
I use Amain Hobbies and Tower Hobbies.
My runner is a 10T, I love it!
Cheers, Dave.

Re: Help. Please identify this truck.
It looks like an all black late 10T, possibly team. Looks like someone was really tinkering around with that one. Cool little truck. Could be pretty slick after some work. Any updates?
I recently got rid of a late model all black sport truck, for reference:

Re: Help. Please identify this truck.
Thanks for all of the information. I've finally had the time to tinker with it again. I have found out that it is a late release RC10T from 1993 or 1994. I just got all of the old electronics out of it, got everything torn down to the chassis, and the suspension.
I will be looking for the following:
Battery hold downs to accomidate 2s or 3s lipo
RPM front and rear a arms
MIP CVD driveshafts
new shocks all the way around
a body
a Stealth transmission
I'm also going to re finish the wheels and paint them. I'm undecided on what color scheme to go with. I will be doing this project with my son Jack, as he wants to be a part of it. As far as electronics, I'm going to go hobbywing esc, hitec metal gear servo, and a 4000kv plus brushless motor. This should be fun as I'm going to have my son do the work with my close super vision.

Re: Help. Please identify this truck.
whats wrong wih the stealth thats in it now? Definitely rebuild the dif and go from there.
Mentioned above it can me modded to take a better slipper assy. Unless the shocks are junk they should clean up. Paint is easy enuf to clean off of them and rebuilding shocks are definitely part of the RC experience
MIP CVDs are all over ebay for these things. Many different associated truck models will work with this truck.
As cheap as the RPM parts that were linked above, again a personal opinion, I would just get new so you can eliminate slop from the wore out parts you'll pry find with used.
There are infinite possibilities with bodies depending on what you want it to look like in the end. Might have to get creative with body posts and mounting ideas but pretty much anything can be done there.
If I were you I'd limit myself to 2S lipo. A 3S will definitely be overkill unless you are trying to kill this truck off completely. Lipo is definitely worth it though with your choice of electronics it should be a great project for your son...and you
Good luck with the project. From the pix it looks like it could be a solid foundation for a nice runner for Junior...then you can get one to run with him and do it all over again
