Re: RC10B6/D
Picked up the B6D this past weekend.
I had bought the B6 laydown to see if I could mount it in my B5M easily, but the holes for the transmission don't line up without re-drilling the chassis. They holes are so close I decided it wasn't worth risking ruining the B5M, which I just bought a couple months ago.
The electronics were donated from my SC10, which I don't race any more, and a 6.5 Novakl Vulcan I bought on clearance. The 6.5 is over kill, but it was originally purchased for a 4wd buggy that has not been released yet.
Now I will have two 2wd buggys to race on Sunday instead of racing one buggy in two classes(17.5 & mod).

Stock body... pfft, it is un-needed! That looks sweet, I can't wait for someone to shoehorn a viper on theirs.

Re: RC10B6/D
Funny you should mention the viper body, I have one that I'm going to use on this chassis also, just haven't figured out a paint scheme yet. Probably go with the tq10 box art. The viper actually fits better on the chassis than the protect.clm wrote:Stock body... pfft, it is un-needed! That looks sweet, I can't wait for someone to shoehorn a viper on theirs.

Re: RC10B6/D
You could always take and force the modern b6 paint scheme to fit the old viper body
