Re: Kyosho Scale Series Jaguar XJ220 and Nissan 300ZX
Great thread!
I also have a Jaguar in my soon to be restored stash.
Does any one have a manual for these kits?
Would help a bunch under the resto.

I come back in this topic, because I just found it...

The chassis is almost never used, nothing to do on it.
The body has to be renewed, but not so much to do

And just like the original, the xj220 kit wasn't much of a commercial success
I have the Vette GP version as NiB iirc... cool stuff!

I have one of the Ultima chassis models:tamiyadan wrote:the other cars in the super scale series used the ultima II, Optima MID, and a later Raider variant chassis. they used a different type of spring loaded body mount along with usually a front hidden mount making it much easier to pop the bodies off to do what was needed to the chassis.

You can see between the front shocks there's a bar, that's where the front of the body clipped in. Never did finish the body, but the lexan seems pretty good, and the details are all plastic so they look good.

The mini truck is aweesome. I was in high school when that fad was going around.
Got any other pics of the Pathfinder?

Glad to see you're happy with your "Spanish Diablo"
I've still got another one that have been restored with black center caps, wing and mirrors; plus new rare Kyosho yellow saddle pack (one of few nicd hardcase batteries back in 1990).
Now it's time to find a solid shelf for her...
Cesar, from Spain
PD: Seems you used Micron tape to hide headlights damage perfectly... Good tip

Anyone ever seen a 300ZX body like this in 1/12 scale? I'm having a terrible time finding one...apologies for posting this in 2 places, I just came across this thread & thought it might be a good place to ask.
