What was the good stuff circa 1992?

Post by Tamiyaterror »

Hi all, I'm looking to get my lazer zxr equipped with the correct electrics from around 1992, my main query is what radio gear was deemed good around that time? It was a very long time ago and I can't remember!

There is a link for RCCA back to before 1990, be fun to look at the 1992 issues, (or even the article for the laxer to see what they used in the test)

I used a sanwa gemini exerd, ko1001 or futaba 9402 and Reedy Mr series and Corally silver or gold motors. Esc was Tekin 410s and bypassed the newer variants as there wasnt much between them in an event until the Tekin 410k came out which i think was January 93 and got when released plus added a couple of laps to my races with that esc. I also took note of Masami's car when he brought his over for me to look at and I added two Schotkey diodes to my motor. I also had a Tekin BC210 flex peak charger.
