Another TRX-3? Really!!
So I had enough parts lying around and I decided F it, I'm going to build another one. Here are some pics, I am not going to use everything in the obligatory money shot parts pile. But it will be pretty much built from new parts with some other random stuff.
Iv'e got a little more finished pretty much roller status, just gotta build some shocks and odds and ends. Springs. Why do the Traxxas big bore kits com without springs? Anybody know if the ultra shock springs would be compatible? I got the pink Radicator wheels on this thing, was thinking about all black but dye the trans case hot pink and then a JRX-Pro ad / box art rip off paint job on a TBG Intruder body. Is that the paint with the black w/hot pink and a little bit of yellow? It might be bright orange? Or the TRX-1 original melted turd body fits with 0.059% modification.
No tires yet. Have $50 gift certificate at RC Plus, planning on dropping that at RC Plus over Thanksgiving. Get another update in there somewhere...

Here is an updated picture. I have an Indy 600 to put in it. Those are just some basher tires. And I'm pretty sure that is B3 body.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Because most of the time the rate is wrong anyways. Just like buying wheels and tires.......If you can find the right wheels and tires together, that's a huge bonus, but usually people want to choose what wheels go on the tires they like.TRX-1-3 wrote:Why do the Traxxas big bore kits com without springs?

Re: Another TRX-3? Really!!
OK so I was thinking about taking this in a different direction. I picked up a 2628X off the one deal. Realized after it shipped that it is for use with the 2629X long wheel base chassis. So now I want to make a LWB TRX-3 with a Lethal Weapon and trailing arms. Pretty sure someone can "stretch" the lower plate to match the 2628X top plate. But I wonder if the rear angle and whatnot of the chassis is correct for accepting a trailing arm kit. Anyway. Let me know if any of you have any ideas.
Thanks
